Tamarack Resort has hired John Griffith of MLC Sotheby's International Realty as the resort's vice president of real estate sales and marketing working out of the resort's Tamarack Resort Realty division.
Griffith replaces Rory Veal, the resort's original vice president of real estate sales, who has moved on to pursue other opportunities, according to a Tamarack spokesman.
Griffith is a fourth generation Idahoan who had a successful management career in the telecommunications industry which took him across the United States and the globe.
Griffith returned to Idaho and in 2005, he obtained his real estate license.
Griffith then co-founded MLC Sotheby's International Realty in McCall earlier this year.
"John's integral role in the success of MLC Sotheby's and its impact on the luxury real estate market in the Payette River Mountains speaks to his impressive management and leadership credentials," Tamarack CEO Jean-Pierre Boespflug said.
"His ability to connect with luxury homebuyers while guiding a talented sales team will help drive continued demand for Tamarack real estate while helping to grow our community," Boespflug said.
Griffith will lead an experienced team of five sales associates already at work in the Tamarack Resort Realty office.
"With the vision for Tamarack's development, its spectacular natural surroundings and first-class amenities this resort and region is destined to become one of the most desirable destinations in the world," Griffith said.
Being a vital part of bringing that to reality for homeowners across the globe is an opportunity I embrace," he said.
In taking on his new role Griffith will remain as a managing partner of MLC Sotheby's International Realty's offices in Eagle and McCall.
